I prefer not to attempt explanations about my work, instead letting it speak for itself. The shadow box series was born from the playtime of my childhood, such as redesigning model kits, disrupting school wood shop,  pursuing bug collecting and chemistry and modifying doll parts, in order to create a tableau or diorama of the visions i was chasing in my mind.  I  managed to get into abandoned hospital wings which had been closed down for more modern ones,  sometimes even slipping into unlocked Doctor's offices and rummaging thru old medical tools and x-rays.
